Maps!

By Pink Lady Phoebe | Filed in Etsy, invitations

A lot of couples have family and friends that come in for weddings who are not familiar with the area or if you are having a destination wedding chances are no one will know where to go. Putting a map in with your invitations are very helpful to guests. There are so many designers and illustrators that make beautiful custom maps for your area. You can map out the ceremony location, reception location, hotel and even other attractions guests can visit while in town. Check out these maps I found on etsy!

Looking for a romantic glow?

By Pink Lady Sara | Filed in Uncategorized

I can’t think of a more romantic table setting than candles. I love the glow and ambiance candles give off. You can be really creative with candles and candle holders and for every budget. For a DIY project you can get varying sizes and use stencils or stamps to personalize them like these I found on Martha Stewart. Or if you are looking for something a little more elegant Crate and Barrel has some beautiful candle holders.

Do you have any great ideas for using candles at your wedding? We would love to hear about them!

Part 2: Customized Soaps and Candles

By Pink Lady Sara | Filed in bridesmaids gifts, monogram

Photobucket

Yesterday I did a post about customized ties, so today I thought I would continue on with that theme of customizable items. I found this great website, Solebury, that sells customized candles and soaps. You can have them engrave your monogram, initial, word or name into the soap or candles. How cute would these be to give as bridesmaid gifts or even put them into a goody bag for out of town guests. They come it a variety of scents and you can get them in single packages and a multi-pack.

Part 1: Custom Neck Ties!!

By Pink Lady Sara | Filed in accessories, grooms

I found this cool site that will let you design your own neck ties. How cool would it be to design ties for your guys to wear at the wedding? You could put your favorite picture of you two on the tie or even your monogram. Or if you have a certain pattern in mind that would go perfect with the rest of your wedding they can do that too! You can also put text on the ties. You could use this feature to put your names and/or wedding date on the tie. I started to make a Pink Book Blog tie to show how it worked. It was easy and didn’t take me very long at all! Enjoy!
